Media Director Michael Sugg came to Fruchtman in 2013 with over fourteen years’ experience in media buying, planning, and strategy. He has previously worked at STRATA Marketing in Chicago, managing over 100 agency accounts, was a media director in Cleveland, a senior media buyer/planner in Akron, and a national media planner at J. Walter Thompson in Detroit. He has worked with such accounts as John Deere, Harley Davidson, Bombardier Recreational Products, Isuzu, and Domino’s Pizza. When not banging out numbers about reach and frequency for our clients, Mike enjoys playing some very different numbers on his saxophone.
A former band member and disc jockey, music is a constant in his life, and he confesses it’s not unusual for him to attend a live concert once a month. In addition to the sax, Mike owns an electric guitar, bass guitar, drum set, and a piano – all of which he hopes to learn to play one day. When not playing around with media and musical numbers, Mike, his fiancée Alexis, and their blended family of four children, love camping and relaxing with family and friends. We wonder where he finds the time, but then we remember he’s a master at negotiating added-value schedules.
