Drone Delivery
There’s a little extra buzz in The Buzz this week. It’s the buzz you hear when a drone makes a jewelry delivery.
Illinois jeweler Tony D’Ortenzio had a long-time dream to deliver jewelry via drone, and he worked with a tech-savvy customer to make it come true. D’Ortenzio used a drone to deliver a gold watch to the customer’s wife on their anniversary. Despite having to manually direct the drone as they drove behind it in a car, the delivery was a complete success.
