Cherry Lemonade with straw on wooden table

Fresh Squeezed Cherry Lemonade for One

by Charles Pobee-Mensah, Director of Digital Marketing

August is one of the hottest months of the year. Why not cool down in style with a cherry lemonade? Don’t get stuck in the trap of thinking that you can only make fresh lemonade when there’s a party. A bag of lemons will last you 3-4 weeks in the fridge and that’s plenty of time for you to finish the bag by yourself. And cherries are a great snack to have even if you don’t use them all for beverages. Or you could share. =)

Ingredients
1 Lemon
About 3 cherries, pitted
¼ cup of sugar
½ cup of ice
About ½ cup of water (or to taste)

Directions
Squeeze the lemon juice into a blender. Add the sugar, pitted cherries, sugar, and ice. Blend on low until the ice is crushed. Pour into a cup (about 12oz. Solo cups work well). Fill the rest of the cup with water. Stir to finish mixing.

Wasn’t that easy? Now go enjoy the rest of your summer!
