New Tab Groups In Google Chrome Make Browsing Easier

by Charles Pobee-Mensah, Director of Digital Marketing

Ever feel lost in all the tabs you have open? Google Chrome recently added a better way to keep your browser tabs organized. You can now create “tab groups”.

These neat little things can be named, color-coordinated, and minimized. So instead of seeing dozens of tabs with their names cut off, you can instead see a blue group label you called “Research” next to a green label you named “Communication”. Click on it to expand all of the relevant tabs for the thing you’re working on. Even cooler is that you can close them all at the same time.

You should be able to start using tab groups in Google Chrome now as long as you updated to the latest version of the browser. Just right-click a tab and select “Add tab to new group” to get started. Enjoy!
