Cool off this summer with a traditional lemonade treat!
- 2 lemons
- 1 ½ pints boiling water
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- ice cubes
- Cut 3 thin slices of lemon, and reserve them for decorating.
- Thinly peel the remaining lemons and place the rind in a bowl with the sugar, pour on the boiling water, and let stand until room temperature.
- Add the lemon juice, strain and cool.
- Serve in a pitcher, with the lemon slices and ice cubes.
