IMMEDIATE position available for a Art Director to join our award winning team. We’re a full-service marketing agency located in Toledo, Ohio that provides strategic planning, advertising, and public relations services to clients, nationwide, in the jewelry industry. Ideal candidate will have a BFA and at least 5 years of agency experience, expertise with Adobe Creative Suite, HTML, CSS, and the WordPress environment, and strong leadership skills. Experience in email marketing (MailChimp helpful) and ability to problem solve new email marketing needs/opportunities. Ideal candidate should be a self-starter who can oversee and manage the workflow of a creative department and freelancers, able to work independently and ready to contribute to a dynamic team. Must have strong print and digital experience, organizational, writing, communication and presentation skills, understanding of the web, as well as the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a deadline-focused team environment.  Responsibilities include day-to-day project management/design for multiple clients, website updates, email marketing, conceptualizing new creative ideas and collaboration with other departments. Salary is $47 – $50K

Overall Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage workflow of design department and freelancers

• Design, layout and production of all materials, including file preparation for various projects, print and digital
• Flyers, banners, digital and print sales brochures, variety of sales and presentation materials, invitations
• Coordinating with print vendors
• Work with brand style guides and standards
• Design display ads, campaigns and email layouts including internal/external testing and edits
• Design and layout concepts, images, banners for various websites and other digital marketing needs
• Backup other designers workload when on vacation/sick

• Keen understanding of advertising and branding
• Excellent oral and written communication and project management skills
• Positive, enthusiastic and responsive work ethic and internal/external demeanor
• Ability to organize, prioritize and multi-task


Job Requirements

• 3+ years experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design and a portfolio that demonstrates equivalent training or experience
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
• Knowledge of HTML/XHTML, CSS and WordPress
