In a food-grade large bucket or container large enough to hold your turkey, mix together the water, salt, garlic, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and brown sugar (as well as the other ingredients if you choose to “kick it up”).
Store mixture in refrigerator, soaking turkey for 2 days before smoking or roasting.
After soaking, remove turkey from mixture and stuff with apples, oranges, lemons, and onions.
Cook breast side down for about 3 hours at 170-175°F and enjoy!
