Chocolate Chip Cookie Ice Cream

Chocolate Chip Cookie Ice Cream

by Michael Fruchtman, CEO/CFO

You know, Chocolate Chip Cookie Ice Cream Sandwiches are always a crowd-pleaser, but I've got to say, the ice cream version is next-level amazing. The thing about chocolate chip cookies is, they disappear faster than you can say "ice cream sandwich." So, we decided to outsmart the cookie monsters and whip up some Chocolate Chip Cookie Ice Cream before they could get to 'em.

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 14 oz condensed milk, sweetened
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate chip cookies, broken and crumbled
  • pinch of salt
  1. Freeze your ice cream maker bowl for 12-24 hours

  2. In a large bowl, whisk together heavy cream, condensed milk, vanilla, and salt

  3. Pour mixture into ice cream maker and churn according to device instructions

  4. When mixture begins to harden (12-15 min), add ½ cup of the chocolate chip cookies

  5. Once churning is complete and ice cream is nearly hard but still easily transferable, place in freezer-safe container, mix in remainder of chocolate chip cookies and freeze for 4-6 hours
