Chocolate Chip Cookies

There's something undeniably comforting about the warm, gooey goodness of chocolate chip cookies, a timeless treat that never fails to bring a smile. With their perfect balance of sweet dough and melted chocolate, these cookies are a beloved staple in kitchens around the world.

Ingredients:
  • 1 c. butter
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 - 12 oz bag or 2 c. chocolate chips
Instructions:
  1. In large bowl beat butter on medium speed with electric mixer for 30 seconds.
  2. Add brown sugar and sugar. Beat until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well. 
  3. Add dry ingredients to mixture, beating until well combined. Stir in chocolate chips. 
  4. Drop dough onto ungreased cookie sheet.
  5. Bake at 375 degrees for 9 minutes. 
  6. Let cool on sheet for 4-5 minutes. Remove to cooling rack.
