by Ashley Bowen, Account Coordinator Fudge is a beloved staple at county fairs, carnivals, and amusement parks. Although we’ll have to wait to enjoy these summer attractions, you can still enjoy this delicious treat at home with this simple recipe.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Swirl Fudge

  • 2 cups peanut butter chips
  • 1 14 oz can Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 2 tbsp butter or margarine
  • dash salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  1. In a heavy saucepan, over low heat, melt peanut butter chips with 1 cup sweetened condensed milk, butter and salt.

  2. In a small saucepan, over low heat, melt chocolate chips with remaining sweetened condensed milk. Remove from heat; add vanilla extract. Stir until smooth.

  3. Spread peanut butter mixture evenly into waxed paper lined 8- or 9-inch square pan. Spoon chocolate mixture over peanut mixture. With a table knife or metal spatula, swirl through top of the fudge. Chill 3 hours or until firm. Turn fudge onto a cutting board; peel off paper and cut into squares. Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator.
