- 1.7 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 egg whites, lightly beaten
- 1/2 cup all purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 1/2 tsp Italian herb seasoning
- 1/2 tsp mustard powder
- 1/2 tsp celery salt
- 1/4 tsp ginger powder
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Preheat your air fryer or oven to 400 degrees F
Rinse and pat dry your chicken breasts. Slice each piece into 3 vertical strips and then slice those into small chunks. Season with salt.
House your beaten egg whites in a medium bowl. Add the chicken to the bowl and toss to coat.
In a large shallow plate, whisk together the flour, baking powder and all of the seasonings listed.
Working in small batches, add some chicken to the flour plate and toss to coat well. Transfer to your air fryer basket without any pieces touching each other. Spray with olive oil and cook for 9-10 minutes. In the oven, bake for 15-27 minutes or until cooked through, flipping halfway through.
