Homemade Bruschetta

  1. Slice one French baguette in half and butter both sides
  2. Add a little salt and pepper. Put into the oven on broil and toast until golden brown (typically 2-5) minutes, depending on the oven.
  3. Chop several tomatoes along with fresh basil. Place tomatoes into a bowl, salt tomatoes and let it start to dissolve on them. Add a splash of apple cider vinegar and hot sauce. Mix together. Add additional salt and hot sauce to taste.
  4. Once the bread is toasted, cut into smaller slices and serve tomatoes and basil on each slice individually.
