Simple Garlic Bread

  • 3-4 cloves of garlic
  • 1/2 cup butter (very soft)
  • 1 french baguette (cut lengthwise)
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 2 tablespoons parsley (freshly chopped)
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan (grated)
  1. Preheat oven to 425° and line a baking sheet with foil. In a small bowl, mix softened butter with garlic, salt, and parsley until well combined.

  2. Spread cut sides of bread liberally with garlic butter. Sprinkle with Parmesan.

  3. Bake on top rack until bread is toasty and golden at the edges, about 10 minutes. For extra crispy edges, switch the oven to broil for the last 1-2 minutes.

  4. Slice into 2-inch pieces, serve warm.
