You may have just bought the iPhone 6S, but the next version of Apple’s flagship device is already being talked about. Apple releases a new version of the iPhone every year, but it’s only every other year the phone is completely redesigned – and 2016 is a redesign year.
Apple’s constant quest to make every device thinner is putting the headphone jack at risk. Rumor has it the standard 3.5mm headphone jack will be replaced with a set of headphones that plug in through the lighting port, or with Bluetooth wireless earbuds.
There is also the possibility of an edge-to-edge display and an option for 256GB of storage on the iPhone 7 Plus, though those rumors are a bit sketchy. Look for the iPhone 7 to be released in September of this year.
