BBQ Brisket

by Ellen Fruchtman, CEO Too cold out there to barbeque? Not to worry. This recipe does the trick inside!

  • 4 lb brisket
  • 1 jar Original KC Masterpiece BBQ sauce (or a sauce of your choice)
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 2 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp crushed bay leaves
  • 2 tbsp liquid smoke
  1. Combine dry ingredients.

  2. Rub liquid smoke on the brisket, and then sprinkle the dry ingredients on.

  3. Cover and bake at 325 degrees for 3 hours.

  4. Scrape seasoning off of the meat. Slice and pour the barbeque sauce on top.

  5. Enjoy!
