Soften Cream cheese. Take cream cheese and mix in about a tablespoon of vanilla. Mix in about half of a 1 pound bag of brown sugar. Thoroughly mix by hand or, for best results, beat with an electric mixer until all sugar is mixed.
Taste! More sugar or vanilla can be added at this point if desired.
This can be served immediately but tastes best if put back in the refrigerator for about an hour so the sugar finishes dissolving.
