Once you make your own teriyaki, you'll never go back to the store-bought stuff. Simmer 1/2 cup lower-sodium soy sauce with 2 tablespoons of rice wine vinegar and 1/4 cup brown sugar for a quick DIY teriyaki.
Yields 4 Servings
Ingredients
1 large rack baby back ribs (2 1/2 pounds), cut into pairs
1/2 teaspoon pepper
2/3 cup teriyaki sauce
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
2 cloves garlic, pressed
Slaw, for serving
Sesame seeds, for garnish
Directions
Sprinkle baby back ribs with pepper; place in a slow cooker or Instant Pot with 1/3 cup teriyaki sauce. Cover; cook on High 4 hours or Low 7 hours until tender.
