- Plan, plan, plan! Make sure you gather ALL information needed for any sales you want to have during this time. Work out all of the fine details in advance so that when the holiday approaches, there is no scrambling for information at the last minute.
- Get your designs together. Think about the look and feel you want to advertise during the holidays. Some people in colder climates prefer a classic look with snowflakes and candy canes, while others in warmer climates want to direct your attention to gift boxes and ribbons. Regardless of your personal preference, it’s most important to choose a design that best represents your clients and the area that you are in.
- Know your numbers. Be sure to reflect on the campaign you ran the year prior and don’t be afraid to ask yourself if that promotion really worked the way you wanted it to. Maybe it’s time to change an offer or go a different design direction, but don’t be afraid to adapt and grow with the new year!
