Graphic Designer / Social Media Coordinator
Reports directly to Vice President and Director of Digital Marketing

Job Description:

We are looking for a talented Graphic Designer who also loves Social Media! In this exciting position, you will spend time designing all types of marketing material for clients from print and direct mail to online media such as website design and display. You will also manage social channels, including weekly postings and Facebook advertising, to create and maintain a strong and creative online presence for our clients.


  • Design, layout and production of materials, including file preparation for various projects
  • Flyers, banners, digital and print sales brochures, a variety of sales and presentation materials
  • Deploy weekly email marketing for various clients through MailChimp and Constant Contact
  • Design and layout concepts, images, banners for various websites and other digital marketing needs
  • Develop original content and suggest creative ways to attract more customers and promote our clients’ businesses
  • Review all clients’ social pages for comments and other items that need attention
  • Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules
  • Develop creative work orders for social projects, promotions and initiatives with clients and monitor their progress
  • Participation and assistance on strategic planning and execution of social marketing initiatives, developing project action plans and driving projects to successful completion
  • Understand and explore new social media opportunities and develop POVs on their effectiveness/relevance for our clients
  • Ability to launch and manage social media advertising efforts, including the identification of potential issues and needs, determining execution strategy and cross-platform marketing opportunities
  • Recommend annual online advertising strategy and budget allocation requirements
  • Develop conference agendas and reports for social service accounts
  • Back up other designers workload when on vacation/sick


  1. Understanding of advertising, design and branding
  2. Expertise in multiple social media platforms and ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)
  3. Familiarity with online marketing strategies and marketing channels including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Snapchat and YouTube
  4. Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability
  5. Excellent oral and written communication and project management skills
  6. Multitasking and analytical skills
  7. BS degree in Design, Marketing, New Media or relevant field
  8. Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
  9. Knowledge of HTML/XHTML, CSS and WordPress
