During the Ormeley Dinner, a fundraiser held in London, a lab grown diamond necklace sold for $122,000. The London fundraiser was held by animal conservation charities, The Aspinall Foundation and Space for Giants. The dinner raised about $2 million dollars, and this money will be used to protect African wildlife and species.
What makes the necklace so valuable? The 18-karat necklace set in white gold features 54 lab grown diamonds totaling a whopping 74.65 carats. The necklace, created by Smiling Rocks, was the highest grossing item of the night.
