A Font for the Future
by Kelsi Roth, Graphic Designer and Social Media Coordinator
You’re probably very familiar with Calibri, the default font on Microsoft systems and programs since 2007. Even if you don’t use a Microsoft operating system, Calibri was likely sent to you on basic documents, simple forms, and lackluster powerpoints many times over the last 14 years. Though the inoffensive and easy-to-read font has served users well, Microsoft has made the decision to replace the default with one of five new options: Tenorite, Bierstadt, Skeena, Grandview, or Seaford. Read more about the decision and see the new options on Wired.
