Rolex sets a new record for their Rolex Reference 4113 split-seconds chronograph at an auction in Monte Carlo, Monaco. This vintage model, known for its applied baton and Arabic numerals, oversized sub-counters, and dual scale, sold for a groundbreaking $3.5 million.
Why is this watch so valuable? It was one of a mere twelve ever made, and it is the only split-second chronograph ever produced by Rolex. This rare piece actually broke its previous record when it was auctioned for $2.6 million in 2016.
