Lab-grown versus natural, which is better?

For years now, lab-grown diamond companies have latched onto the narrative that lab-grown diamonds are more environmentally friendly than naturally mined diamonds. A study two years in the making may prove the opposite.
The Diamond Producers Association has recently announced the launch of their Total Clarity platform as a way to provide easy access to the socio-economic data about natural diamond mining in an easy, readable format. As a part of the launch, they also provide a toolkit with fun facts and social media assets for their retail partners about natural and lab-grown diamonds.
