Chocolate, Peanut Butter and Banana Bites
A quick, easy snack to satisfy your mid-day sweet tooth!
Equipment
- Wax paper
- Baking Sheet
- small bowl
Ingredients
- 3 bananas sliced
- ½ cup peanut butter
- ½ cup dark or semi-sweet chocolate melted
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
- chopped nuts of your choice optional
Instructions
- Place wax paper on a baking sheet and slice bananas into ½-inch rounds.
- Spread peanut butter on a slice of banana, then top with another slice.
- Lay the bites on the prepared baking sheet and freeze until solid - about an hour.
- In a small bowl, melt your choice of chocolate with coconut oil until smooth.
- Remove frozen banana bites from the freezer. Dip the bites into the melted chocolate, roll in chopped nuts if desired, and place back on the wax paper.
- Freeze for an additional hour.
- Keep in the freezer for an after lunch/dinner treat!
